2011 MDPA Marketing to the Overweight American Conference Advertising Awards Winners Announced

Top brands vied for honors at the Marketing Disease Prevention in America (MDPA) National Advertising Awards at the MDPA Conference on Marketing to the Overweight American, September 27-28, 2011, in Silver Spring, Maryland.

ATLANTA, GA. [September 29, 2011] – DTC Perspectives, Inc., the leading conference, training and publishing company for direct-to-consumer (DTC), over-the-counter (OTC), and healthcare product consumer marketing, today announced the winners for the first annual Marketing Disease Prevention in America (MDPA) Advertising Awards. The ad awards were held in conjunction with the MDPA Conference on Marketing to the Overweight American, September 27-28, 2011, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Following in the rich tradition of the long-running DTC National Advertising Awards, the 2011 MDPA Advertising Awards honored leading companies and brands engaged in marketing weight loss and weight management at an awards ceremony which that showcased the best weight loss and weight management marketing and advertising campaigns with Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards across 4 categories. The Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners for each of the 4 categories were announced at the ad awards ceremony on the second day of the conference, September 28th.
